Do Your Homework
Research your options for airfare available for purchase on the
internet. Change your days of the week and departure times to
"tweak" the bottom-line. Be sure the quotes include all costs,
taxes, fees etc. Try different airports that you are willing to
drive to also.
Finding Air Fare Deals
Airlines that are running internet specials can save you big money. Want to
travel somewhere new? Let the airlines sale tell you what's cheap.
Personal Low Fare Example
I have flown round trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to Nagoya, Japan for
only $438 when fares where listed normally around $2,200. The
airline was running a huge sale on the web that made a great
destination more obtainable. eTickets and eFares are a bargain
hunters dream. Use them. Budget prices can be found with a little
time and determination.
Big Names Can Save Big Bucks
Most of the large airlines like United, Northwest or Delta just to
name a few all have web offers that put you in control of what you
spend. Maybe signing up for their newsletters could help you to your
next cheap airline ticket.
The eTicket
Go paperless or physical ticket to save a lot of money. You may
print a ticket voucher with your computer printer or itinerary once
purchased.
Give Up Your Seat
Give up your seat for a free ticket. I
was flying out of Dallas on an overbooked flight. I vounteered to
take the next flight (one hour later) and recieved a $400 credit
voucher that I flew to Europe on.
