When was the last time you stopped at a motel on the road only to over pay for a stinky, noisy room?

Garmin GPS In ActionGPS Navigation
Expensive luxury? or freakin awesome travel tool
I recently purchased a GPS unit at Wally mart while road tripping in Georgia. I have to say, you don't know how something works until you actually try it. And my review of it is excellent.

No Longer Being Lost
Imagine no longer being lost. It's really that simple. To sum it up. The device allows you to drive to a location you have never been as if you have been there a hundred times. No more wasting gas and time driving around in circles. Which I literally do. I have the worse sense of direction. No more asking for directions that no matter how nice the person is that's giving them.

How do I avoid being hassled by "the man"?
Privacy is Key to Happy Car Camping

1992 Honda Civic VXConsider having your windows tinted. I have had my windows tinted dark to help stop people from being able to see in easily. With the "windshield sun blocker" in place it is very difficult to see in. Every once in a while their will be a time that you need to play possum. You know, act like your not inside the car. It has worked a few times for me in places like New York City and Joshua Tree National Park.
Use a large sun shade for your windshield

I would drive this car anywhere
Gas mileage low 30's mpg city / high 30's mpg highway
16 years old and over 268,000 miles on it
Still does 110 mph (theoretically of course)
Still holding up pretty good
