Which travel guide book should I use?

This is a good time to mention when you are trying to decide which travel guide book to use. I like two, Lonely Planet and Let's Go. They are budget focused and amazingly detailed i.e. "at the red dog turn left" etc. I like to look at the exact same travel destination title and pick "lodgings" for example and compare them side by side in the bookstore. No other travel publications come close to these two. I am often asked how did I know about someplace and I simply reply It is in the book. This is at the core off being an independent traveler.
